Ethan Heller has formed his early career around steady effort, discipline, and performance under pressure. At Lehigh University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics with a major in Finance and a minor in Management. He consistently earned Dean’s List honors and graduated with the highest academic honors.

At the same time, Ethan competed as a Division I baseball player, spending 20-25 hours/week on practice, games, and leadership development. An injury ended his athletic career, but it did not end his connection to the sport. He began helping coaches use performance data to shape training strategies. This work helped him learn to simplify complex information and make decisions in uncertain situations.

Early Exposure to Private Equity

Ethan's first experience in private equity came through multiple internships, where he often worked with senior management and portfolio company executives. One early experience involved speaking with over 20 executives across different industries. These conversations helped him understand how organizations think about growth, culture, and the future.

Ethan also learned that financial performance is closely connected to clear communication and a shared belief in meaningful work. During one internship, he presented acquisition analyses directly to a CEO and contributed to product development discussions for a portfolio company. He also completed pricing and industry analysis for a prototype product with multimillion-dollar implications.

Driving Results in Operations

After graduation, he started his career at a private equity firm as a Project Specialist. This role focused on execution and placed him on initiatives with measurable financial benefits across portfolio companies.

One project involved analyzing fuel usage and cost structures for aircraft operations. He developed break-even models to improve flight activity and reduce inefficiencies. He also created an inventory system to support nationwide consolidation, helping reduce costs and streamline operations.

Ethan Heller's financial insight into operational changes was shown in a cost-reduction program he led. That program delivered over $300k in annualized savings and supported better cash flow and financial stability. He also provided daily liquidity analyses to maintain flexible capital allocation. As part of an asset restructuring, he worked on several real estate deals across multiple states, using financial planning and analysis to support decisions about what to buy, what to sell, and how to plan for the long term.

Expanding into Financial Services and Entrepreneurship

In 2025, Ethan joined LUMA Financial Group. Ethan focuses on the metrics that truly drive value. He understands that many KPIs do not always explain the real condition of a business. For that reason, his financial models are designed to support decisions, whether a company is evaluating new investments or improving existing operations.

On the entrepreneurial side, he recently founded and became the managing partner of an investment holding company. He plans to build a portfolio that includes both traditional and alternative investments. These include real estate, public markets, and emerging markets such as cryptocurrency. He is also active in financial markets, trading Nasdaq-100 futures contracts.

Ethan is also a managing partner in a real estate holding company with residential and commercial properties in several states. These projects show his willingness to accept responsibility and apply the disciplined method he developed early in his journey.

Ethan has also made connections with several charitable and humanitarian organizations and personally supported their work. He donates time and resources to help people and families in need. He has spoken with donors about international programs for orphaned children and has helped with food insecurity initiatives.
